Ok I down loaded the build mod file

Now I can't install I unzipped it and sent it to my pirates directory. In the unzipped directory there is no build 13installer file there is a runme a engine and a config but nothing to install the mod.

Ohoy there, in the build13full i got from the ftp yesterday, there was only a install file. Perhaps you by accident got one of the two b13 updates on the ftp instead?
I hope you get it to work, this is simply the best pirate game mod I've ever seen.

Make sure that the file you are using is called "build13_full.exe" and is 368 Mb in size. If not, grab them again from the <a href="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10288&view=findpost&p=187292" target="_blank">Pirates Ahoy! FTP.</a>

This is how I did it and it works flawlessly for me so far.<ol type='1'><li> Install PoTC.</li><li>Install Build 13 Mod Full. The file should be named "build13_full.exe" and be 368 Mb in size. When you run the program it should run an installer that asks you where you want to install Build 13 Mod. Choose your PoTC directory. Note that if you have installed PoTC in another directory than the default you'll have to double check to see wether or not the installation directory is the correct one.
In other words, if the installation directory for PoTC is
<blockquote>C:\Games\PoTC</blockquote>
The installation directory for Build 13 Mod Full should be
<blockquote>C:\Games\PoTC</blockquote></li><li>Enter your PoTC directory and run "RunMe.bat".</li><li>Install Build 13 Mod Update 3 Full. The file should be "b13_update3_full.zip" and be 38.8 Mb in size. Installation is done by extracting the Build 13 Mod Update 3 Full onto your PoTC directory (that would be "C:\Games\PotC" if we go by the example above). It will ask you if you want to overwrite the files, choose yes.</li><li>After extracting run "RunMe.bat" again.</li><li> Play and enjoy the game.</li></ol>Hope that helps.

Actually you only need Build 13 Update 3 ( and not Build 13 Update 3 <b>Full</b>. The full update is meant for people who were running the Pre Build 13 Base version previously. Saves you some downloading time. But it can't hurt to install the Full update anyway. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="no.gif" />

BTW: I edited your previous post to fix a small typo in a filename. It said "b13_update13_full.zip" but should say "b13_update3_full.zip". I hope you don't mind.
