Ok so i start a new game..

And i choose to be a English military person.
After i do this i get them quests to buy a new spyglass ect, than im left with no new quests or any advice were to go.

After doing the buy a new spyglass ect and Malcolm has left you. You should sail to Port Royale, Jamaica and tell the Governor that the french have attacked Speightstown.

Quest Book should update when you do this

OR you can go exploring the jungle and fight a few people to increase your skills, ( be carful you might get killed : so SAVE OFTEN )
And then sail to Port Royale.
