I thought again, maby its a nice idea you can buy some places in a port to berth some ships there, it should be nice that you see your ships there also..

when you berth a ship, what can or does it do?
 
you berth a ship there, it will *wait* until you order it back.

For the Port, you need to add some locators and make a dialog. when ur talking to him it will place 1 of ur ships on the locators..
 
You can already berth ships at ports, can't you? What is the difference between the already existing mod and the mod you propose?

Isn't that already the case? You see ships in port anyway. Not sure if the berthed ones are in there as well though. But it wouldn't change gameplay anyway and most likely, hardly anybody would notice.

so its like you are holding on to it for a while but not using it?

can you send it to do things like pirate missions and other things like that?
