Hello !

Yesterday I`ve posted on the forum about the realisic sailing for Age of Pirates. I got quite a few good tips, answers and files used in PotC. As a result, the sailing got improved greatly withing less than 24 hours <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> and soon should be released for AoP.
Meanwhile, I`ll was checking the build - mostly due to the realistic sailing.

And then, one thing amazed me completely: the gun smoke. It looks so realistic, so well done <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I`ve read the books, I`ve sen some blackpowder guns in use and such dense clouds of smoke are just excellent !
Now, how to import them into AoP ?

WHERE are, so to say, the files and lines responsible for them hidden /
There are few particles. files. I`ve got the build, but still I`m not sure what is what and how should be used. Where to start ? What should I do ?

Thanks in advance :]

You should contact Merciless Mark: He made the gun smoke improvements in Build 13 and he is or was an active player of Age of Pirates. I reckon he'll try to help. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Baron, I was actually working on modding that into AOP myself, and I was somewhat successful. Search for a thread about Cannon Fire and Smoke by myself. MM actually replied and gave me a few hints. I never quite finished that work up because I had a crash and had to rebuild the machine.

OK ! Thanks, I`ll look into it. Perhaps I`ll just pick up Your work, who knows ?
There`s no need to reinvent the wheel <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> I think...
