Patriots and Emperors - Gameplay mod

Hi All - this is the sub-section dealing with the Gameplay mod from the <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/index.php?showtopic=7183" target="_blank">Patriots and Emperors addon</a>.

1. New dialogs: Quest text, historical refrences, etc. are adjusted to 1812.
2. Change main quest to a military mission. An officer in the RN eventually joins the USA in the War of 1812 maybe?
3. Calendar: 1690 goes to 1812.<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--><!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

for to be napoleonic period is 1690 to much early? Napolean was not to be born even until 1769 iirc? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

and for to be napoleonic and 1812 calender should go to 1815? War of 1812 did not finish all until battle of New Orlean of january 1815 and Napolean not defeated until battle of Waterloo of june 1815 iirc? and Napolean did not die until 1821 iirc? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

mabe better calender suggestion to be 1790 goes to 1815? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" />
or 1769 goes to 1821? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

the napoleonics wars started already in 1805 i beleive, thats at least when napoleon became ruler of france i think.

And it was answered there that what the author meant was: Change the start from 1690 to 1812.
