Pirate Kings do u know?

Does anyone know if in the games POTC or COAS If I can actually join the pirate nation?Meaning they wont attack me,or can i work for them,be on there side?
I was informed i am able to join / initiate with the Pirates in the game POTC. And only help out / freelance with Pirate nation in COAS. Thank YOU for reading**
 
Well, With the Combined Mod you are able to Start as a Pirate now. And even if you don't and still fly the pirate flag other pirates won't attack you, but most other ships will.

You dont really "join" a pirate nation, you can fly the Pirate flag and call yourslef a pirate with or without the mods. Your able to land at pirate ports with or without mods, and socialise with the people o fthat pirate settlement and do a few quests there i believe.

The mods just increase the games performance overall, adding nice things and also giving you the ability to start off as a pirate without starting as a part of the English, French, Spanish or ... the other one.. (Forgot what it was haha!) as in the unmodded game you would need to chose 1 of 4 nations and then just fly the Jolly Rodger when you get a boat and call ye self a pirate if you wish.

Tip:

Pirating is fun but i prefer to pick a nation and do some of the quests there as when you do pirate quests some of them may break the ability to start non-pirate quests so it's advised to do other quests first (Mind you, the game is an RPG so you can do what you want, so you don't really have to do quests) But that being said nothing is stopping you from sinking ships, boarding them, taking over the ship all with the pirate flag flown, and that won't break any questlines (although a nation may put a bounty on your head after doing that a few times but you can always improve the relations to that nation in multiple ways)
