Pirates Ahoy forum and my cookies are enemies.

Since day one of my registering here at "Pirates Ahoy" I've had trouble posting. I sign in and post, all is OK, then three or four post later ( same day and I do not log out ) I will try to post and I get this:
<img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y116/oleman/Itcantrememberme.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I have to re log back in to post, later after posting I leave ( without "Log Out" ) and the next day I have to log back in allover again.

When I delete my cookies from my computer ( maybe once a month to clean it up ) "Pirates Ahoy" and several other forums are not deleted from my computer as they are protected by a program called "Cookiewall". None of the protected programs are removed from my computer at any time, as even piratesahoy.net[_utma] stays in the protected cookie column.

But the problem does not only lie there as I've stated above, but it ( Pirates Ahoy ) disappears each day and or every third or fourth post even if I do not leave the forum site.

This is getting a little discouraging, need help please.

First I'm gonna blow you down with a nuke and then I'll shiver your timbers.. that is if those timbers still exist after the nuke. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Ok.. so I made a pointless post. I'll re-rail the thread then. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

What happens if you uninstall that program that prevents you from eating cookies? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Thought of that earlier yesterday. I keep a list of all the forums cookies that I want to appear at for just a thing as that, deleted the entire bunch, in fact deleted "cookiewall", logged back on to "Pirates Ahoy" posted a couple post, did not log out, came back the next day and had to re log back in. Since then I reinstalled "Cookiewall" and this forum still does this. ( although so far today it's let me post twice. )

The "Cookiewall" by "AnalogX" does it's job and I've had this program way back to Win 95 on different computers, it has not failed yet ( have been upgrades ).

In the beginning before I was a member I could not post anything even though the forum recognized me as "Pirate_I_Am" ( less quotes ) it would always give me that Board Message as in my post above.
I finally contacted Keith and he said he would look into it and walla I was on. But now I can log on but most is manual.
So I do believe the problem lies in this forum and hope that a "PA" tech. person will answer.

I wonder why anybody else doesn't have that problem with this forum. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Have you had such problems with any other forum or just this? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

How do you know they haven't? Maybe they have and just gave up as I almost did. I think just recently this forum has had a major upgrade and that there were other problems since the upgrade that were being looked into.

And NO I have not had any problems with ten other forums that I post on, so don't keep looking toward me as the bad guy.

I really thought this was COAS "Technical Help" forum, guess I was wrong.

A recent update? Not likely... our webmasters have been rather not here lately. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Hmm bad timing on my part as I just sent you a private message.

As to the Forum upgrade bit I read that on one of the forums posted by Keith and I forgot whom else ( Maybe you? ). I'll try and locate those post as I may have misunderstood them.

It's not just you having the problem now - I've been running into the same thing for the past two days. I thought it was something on my end (hadn't seen your post), but, nope, I think, like you, it's the forum.

This happened once around the same time last year, but disappeared in a few days like it never happened. This forum seems to have a mind of its own sometimes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Had to log in again as I just left this forum last eve. and did NOT log out nor did I dump any cookies, also if you will notice that your Avatar Icon under your user name is missing, as this day July 12Th 2009, 6:40 P.M. Central Daylight Saving Time USA. Also I notice the time at bottom of screen is 12 hours off, I'm logged in at ( GMT-6:00 Hours ) Central Time ( USA & Canada ) Mexico City.

Yes I do think "Pirates Ahoy Forum Board" has a problem and should be looked into.

OH Keith, where are you? Heck I'll even buy you a beer if you can straighten this out. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cheers.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="cheers.gif" />

But don't drink to much or you'll look like me. <img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y116/oleman/Drinkingagain.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />

EDIT: Well now that I posted the usernames avatars and signatures came back. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

We have had problems with IE in the past, not sure why ...but I am convinced it's part of Uncle Bills sinister plan for world domination! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Seriously though, I am using Firefox and have never had a problem with PA. I stay logged in no matter how many times I close my browser, unless I log out. I have never heard of the other program, but cookie blockers can cause more problems than they are worth. Give Firefox a try and see if your still having the same problem, you can download it <a href="http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html" target="_blank">HERE!</a>
