What are your dreams and plans for what you want to do in Pirates of the Burning Sea when it comes out? When you do post a dream or plan, don't forget what country you want to be part of (or not apart of), what career you would be, your primary (or most wanted) ship type you would use, and how do you thing you could reach it?
Here is my dream:
I want to be a Privateer/Legal Mercinary. If I had to pick a country, my priorities would be at the top British, then French, then Spanish. While the British have the best sailors, the French have the best ships, but the Spanish would most likely pay the most money for jobs to protect themeselves (which makes them the best targets). During war, I would attack the sea lanes of my country's sea lanes (it would most likely be Spanish the Spanish, and the French the least likely). But while the war isn't going on, I would hire myself out to colonial governors and the government to hunt and protect. During the longer peace time would be the time to live easier, due to I would be mostly on protection jobs. But the hardest job I would except would be hunting down pirates. My primary ship would be a Corvette or a Sloop. If I ever could get my hands on a Frigate, I wouldn't nessesary take it. If I had a lot of income, I would take the Frigate, due to that it takes a lot of money to upkeep a Frigate. How would I do this? That is still questionable. If what I have read is correct, everyone gets ships based on tests of some sort. If I started with a small ship like a Ketch, Schooner, or maybe even a Sloop (Sloop being my highest hopes other than a Corvette), I would build up to a Sloop (if not obtained) and then a Corvette.
If all else fails, I would go to the Government for a spot in the Navy.
