Pirates has encountered a problem and needs to close.
That's what I get whatever I try.. tried reinstalling, disabling sound cards, updated sound and video drivers and reinstalled dx9.0c, started pirates on only one cpu (hyperthreading), and I'm totally out of ideas now.
Whatever I do, it doesn't even start up, just crashes immediately.
system specs are P4 3 GHz, 1GB ram, sb audigy, ati x800, win xp, dx9.0c.
other current games (like halflife2 or doom3) run perfectly fine, just pirates seems to not want to start.
any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
