As some of you might know, we've had a Wiki of our own for quite a while that can be found here: <a href="http://wiki.piratesahoy.net/index.php/Main_Page" target="_blank">http://wiki.piratesahoy.net/index.php/Main_Page</a>
However, there's not much there yet. Of course until a couple of minutes ago, not even the site's moderators could add to it.
But now it is open for modification by the Modders and News Gatherers usergroups, so finally people can contribute! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

So now the question is: what will we do with it?
- Post walkthroughs for Pirates of the Caribbean and City of Abandoned Ships storylines
- Post "How to's" for modding various aspects of the game
- Post the list of modding tools available, plus what they do and some help files too
- Post worldmaps and island maps and town names
- Etc.

I'm also thinking we can use it for finally keeping our Build 14 Alpha WIP list properly up-to-date.
And maybe post, for example, the Periods nation relations and town names where everybody can find them too?

Anyway, it's open now and I'd suggest we do something with it! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Apparantly your trying to get a lot of stuff going onto the Wiki, and I say
"Why not? We have lets use it!!!!!!!!!!!!"

If someone wants to put up a walkthrough for the Jack Sparrow quest they are welcome to <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
 
As suggested by Tahlendorf, this might also be useful for decreasing the number of CoAS-related stickies on the forums.

Question: Do the regular COAS-players actually READ this forum???

I don't read the other board and no, I did not see it.

I don't really care if the information I seek is in a wiki, forum or in a cave on second planet of Vega - as long as I can easily find and access it.
The way it is now for CAOS quests and stuff is... well... let's just say a little chaotic and unorganized. Still easily accessible.
If someone were to organize all neatly into the wiki I am sure ppl would appreciate that a lot. I know I would.
Hell of a job though digging through all the info here, lol.

That's the plan with the Preparations for walkthrough thread, AFAIK.
 
Well, at least now you people DO know we have a Wiki, so if somebody is interested in putting CoAS information on there, let me know.
 
I have now made a new "Wiki Team" member group with permission for editing the Wiki.
redCorsair is the first member. Please post here if you want to contribute to the Wiki too.
