plantation on barbados

okay why is there a plantation in barbados? is this going to be quest related? i have not read about it in any posts. just wondering. i decided to wander outside of bridgetown the other day looking for elizabeth sheppard and found this plantation with a bunch of people being worked to death. seems to me it would be part of the dutch west indies quest line but why would it be on Barbados?

The plantation is integral to the Peter Blood character/plot/background. If you play as Peter Blood you start out as a doctor that takes care of rebels in England and is subsequently and unfairly sentenced to slavery on a sugar plantation in the west indies. Getting out of there is quite challenging especially considering its the beginning of the story. It in many ways mirrors the famous old Errol Flynn movie "Captain Blood". :ixi
