as i know they printed master 4 (not gold master) (we still doesn't give them gold master).

main problem is - master 4 and gold master doesn't compatitable by saves. so if you begin game in master 4< and then install patch (wich bring version to 1.3 ver) saves will broke.

since 1.24 to 1.3 we fixed a LOT of bugs :)
and first patch (i we will make it for Playlogic) will broke you saves.

i dont care anymore i ve waited forever for this game and as soon as its on the shelves im buying it. starforce or not i dont care if it breaks my pc. (excuse to buy a better one.)

This reminds me of a similar situation I had with a game called Stronghold 2. As it turns out, the game contained strict anti-copy software, Securom, and would not run with my DVD player and burner. I kept getting error messages basically telling me I was an A-Hole for trying to steal their game. That's consumer love there, my friends. Since my secondary drive, a regular CD drive, quit working some years ago, I figured I would go ahead and get a new drive.

But was it worth the $45 drive to play this game which I had just purchased for $30? Not really, especially since every other game I have runs fine on the DVD/burner/player. However, it makes me wonder if these anti-copy programs like Starforce and Securom actually do as much damage as people who make illegal copies, when you think of the people who buy computers that do not come with regular read-only drives.
Maybe we will see a starforce patch.

I must agree. The publisher says they are working like mad to add the neccessary final polishing to the game, but the developer says that they are withholding the final version from the publisher? And all that AFTER the promised release date ???

Sounds more like a marrying couple quarreling in front of the altar.
 
We shall soon see, if all goes well we should see the game in shops Friday 7th April <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />
 
Did I get this right?

Playlogic will release the 1.2.4 version of AOP. The 1.3 version isn't done yet for the english AoP and will be then available as a patch. The only problem then is, that the savegames will be incomatible.

GrayAngel, any chance that you can have the patch ready for the release date? So when I buy the game I can download the patch and upgrade the game to 1.3 before I start playing.

I guess we'll all have to wait for their (Playlogic) announcement early this weak. Strange, really strange.

i have a baaaad feeling about this...

Btw is multiplayer mode fully functional in 1.3?
i heard in earlier versions it was barley funcitional at all
 
I think playlogic will release 1.24 then would release again 1.3 but with another name I think..probably "deluxe edition".....no offense mates...
