No new updates, and the only mention on PlayLogic's site for AOP is that it is part of the 2005/2006 line-up. You're KILLING ME! Other games on the site have links to more information, their site has nothing, nada, zip, zilch oh and of course ZERO information for AOP.

We are allready in March and I can't see the game is listed in April release list neighter in Amazon or Ebgames yet .
 
Just visited me local EB Games and having noticed the PC game shelf is a third the size it used te be,while the console game shelf expanded considerably,had a chat with one O' employees about that,he said EB games is downsizing the orders for PC games in favor of console games,London Drugs had a better selection O" newly released PC games than EB Games had <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
the playlogic guy is sending out the review copies at the end of march apparently so maybe we will hear more then
 
Its NEWS about AOP, plz dont delete! !! I have a reason to tell.
I know, ya dont wanna hear about K3, but the truth is: they published as a beta of AOP about 2 reasons:
1.: to get money a bit earlyer,
2.: to test it in wide range. They put out the v0.99 to purchase, then free download the 1.1 patch, now is the 1.3 patch still with several 'known issues' (3 page long list, im not kidding)

SO about AOP!!: The K3's defaultlanguage is russian. But u can change it... Then the title says Age of Pirates, and all the text english. But, multiplayer is good, but when U start a single player in english, even the first dialog is missing, and game crashes, SO: 1.: The main system of AOP is in beta state, so its 3 week hard work to produce a full of bugs but enjoyable release in english, or 2 more months to do it smooooth, and made it 'game of the year' type big thingy. We all know that the shiny things get popularity best.... ...

The main purpose to NOT TALK ABOUT K3 GAMEPLAY(your right, Keith totally) is, that game is a public beta, with full support from the developers, so the ingame bugs, lame things, and sloppy errors are dont need to blabbin' about, its an experiment now.
But the system is the basic of the soonly released english AOP (I say the same) so its better to take a look. Its almost potc, but the programs directory got packed and protected.
So, If you accept NOT GAMEPLAY, but strict, dry details about the system, and the state of the games patches, then you can see more details about the english release.
- Based on what I saw in the system, I say, 3 weeks, for a quick, rush release, and 2 months for beeeeautiful development, and good commercials. But you may right, and they wanna wait for a good opportunity, like the film.
Anyway, if someone is not part of the Akella group, then dont know details. No matter, what forums, or game newspapers, and sites, and lists says about dates.
They gonna release it when THEY think is the best. they can do it... Not a little company, they got made n'released 5-6 famous russian games past year. You cant even find em' in non russian pages! weird. they are a bit... patriotic about releases. They just publish in english for big money.
Thanks, and please dont erase this. Its not a K3 forum, agree with that, but this is the name of the child yet... So at least, watch him. Not the inside... But the 'shape', and the bodyparts...... (Or hungarian <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> ..... hehe)
 
gold master (ver 1.3) was compiled 2 weeks ago.
It's contain engish, spanish, france, italian and german version of game.
but we have no any letters from Playlogic since goldmaster was compiled and they doesn't answer our letters. So i don't know anything about release date, sorry.
