To play AoP in english you don´t need to patch the game!
Do the following: Open the file: "C:\Programme\1C\Êîðñàðû 3\RESOURCE\INI\texts" and change ; -sign!

;defaultLanguage = English
defaultLanguage = russian

to:

defaultLanguage = English
;defaultLanguage = russian

...savvy?^^

ok another problem appeared

"insert the play disc into another driver then press "retry" " He keep saying that, what can i do about it? I configuread the language file, i mount the image with deamen tools v4.03HE
I also disabled my cd drivers with SFnightmare but that doesn't solve the problem, and I have tried so many things

can someone please tell me how to get this game to work?

seems almost that nothing works on my pc, and my pc is quite new

Unplug all your CD/DVD cables.

that is really not necessary, yoou can switch them off in your hardware configuration and switch them on anytime you want, It saves a lot of time <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
