POTC & Build 11 questions

Hi,

I just loaded build 11 and have a few questions.

Is there a limit to how much money you can collect?

Do items stored in the chest of your shipâ€™s cabin remain or do they disappear over time?

Rum and fine French wine show that they have +hps in the info field. Are they health potions?

Is wheat the only item that makes towns grow?

What is the largest population that a town can grow to?

Douwesson imports wheat. Will the Colony shrink over time if left alone?

How do you sack a town?

The loan shark claims he will give you interest on your money of 11% a month!
Is that right or is that 11% APR?

It takes two days to visit any shipyard whether or not you repair your ship or not. Is that a bug?

The shipyard at the pirate hangout will repair your ship without taking two days. Is that a bug?

What is the lowest level possible for your character to go out the landward side of Oxbay at the beginning of the game?

How many officers and captives can you keep at any one time?

Welcome aboard.

2. The items stored in the ships cabin are only accessible at the begining of the game. Itmes in your inventory reamin until you dispose of them.

3. That is unclear to me. I believe they wrere intended to be and if you drink them you get the health up message. I don't know if that affects you hp.

4. Don't know

6. Other ships besides yours call at the islands so they are not being left alone evern you are no there. (The tree does in fact fall in the forrest whether a person is there to hear it or not.)

7. You sack a town by atttacking from the sea, destroyihng its fort and landing troops. Then you duel with the defenders like you od when boarding. Open chests etc.

8. It is 11% a month.

9. No.

10. I don't think it is a bug. It might be delberate or just something that was over looked when we went to 2 days in the other ships yards.

11. I think you go at any level.

13 I don't think there is an enforeced limit on prisoners in the build. I think there was a limit on passengers, officer plus prioners, in the original game, but I have never reached in the buildl

Re: wheat.
Yes, it's the only good tied to town growth. There is no set limit to town size. I forget exactly _what_ I did, but I know I got around the `import-wheat` problem somehow.

Re: Oxbay. I have no idea. The only thing I've found is that if I don't duel with Malcolm on the ship it stays locked, so yes it may be level >=2 or something.

Re: max passengers. There's a #define that sets it at 32, but I have no idea if that's enforced.

I noticied that you can no longer buy up all the contraband in town before you run off to the smuggler and sell your big stash. Kewl! Another loop hole closed. Neon Deon, It's worse than that, I don't sell the jewels and really good swords, and I have enough wine and rum to keep even Catalina the Pirate and Skull happy, because I just deposit all of those things in the chest on my ship. Yeah, that's what I've got. I freelance, work for myself, so sometimes I have a lot of time on my hands... This can be nice, but it can also make for some nervous moments if you don't have enough $ to pay the bills ontime. (it's not for everyone)

when priest sends you off to escort a ship at oxbay my pc seizes and eventually drops to desktop,so i cant get past this mission as it refuses to initialise.....

any tips ?
