POTC, where do I get it??

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering where I could buy Bethesda's POTC.... it came out in 2003 and all shops in Norway seem to have taken it off the market, those idiots and I'd like to buy it....

Just "re-discoverd" the game, played it about 200 hours when I was 11... man that was AWESOME

well, there is a site called "playx.no" wich is wery good site, to buy games/movies <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
There used to be a few on ebay but I haven't seen any for awhile. Whatever you do, beware of this one <img src="http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x172/oldsalt_bucket/fakepotc.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> because its not Bethesda and I've heard a lot of horror stories about it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />

Hmm... I'm not quite certain which I've played before.. had it back as a copied version in 03' and I was quite satisfied with that.
If you can show me the other one I would be glad. dont want to end up with shit...

Main character is Nathaniel Hawk, Oxbay or something I Recall

I found this at 20$ it says Akella 90 but I can see the Bethesda logo on the bottom
 
it's the ubisoft logo that needs worrying. anything else is good, as long as the main PotC-themed cover image is the same.

I don't see how Norway would be a problem.
 
Just steer clear of it if it looks like that box. Especially that Ubisoft Exclusive (which is a play on the company Ubi Soft Entertainment. They are separate companies). The real box will usually say on the bottom of the front cover, Bethesda softworks in the middle and on the right it will say Ubi Soft Entertainment. On the bottom of the back of the box you will see a bunch of company logos for Bethesda; 1C; Disney interactive and Akella.

BTW, I can't get your link to work so I can't comment on the box.

yup, in link middle says Bethesda - right says UbiSoft,, think im in the clear :p

be sure to read the gameplay section of the FAQ first though. it could give you some valuable info.
 
Bjodne, if you have EBgames stores in Norway, they have got it as well. It only costs 50,- DKK there <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
