Problem to find Mr. Gibbs in Tortuga (after stealing inteceptor) ,,Jack Sparrow Story Line" --Build

Hi,
I had problem to find Mr. Gibbs in Tortuga. I steal interceptor and go to tortuga. After landing in port Jack says about finding Mr. Gibbs. I go to tavern, and can't find him. I search in all city and still can't find him.

Do I do something wrong or I have problems with scripts?
 
He is hiding in a very tricky way. If you get of the dock, you need to go to the left, then he is in a little ally on your left (before the governors mansion) sitting on the floor

But after that I go to Isla deMuerte and can't land on it...
Or there shuold be a battle before I get to this island?

I mentioned this same problem to SJG. I'm sure he's looking into it.

Honest answer - don't know. I've played it <u>eleven times</u> today and CAN'T get it to fail! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
(Yesterday I could get it to fail)

So you will have to wait I think.
If I can't find the problem, I can't fix it. Sorry.

Any progress on the 'can't land' bug?

Could it have something to do with the isle being 'hostile'? (only you can't tell it's trying to shoot you because it has no fort?) I couldn't land on tortuga when it was shooting me.


I tried changing flags a few times, but it didn't help.
 
Being unable to land in some ports is because there's a hostile fort near you; similar to the hostile ships at sea.
There's no fort on Isla de Muerte, so I can't imagine that being the problem.
