problem with "elusive" loot - morgan quesline (8)

my problem is that i board the spanish ship and i did't have the space in my inventory to take all of the loot in the captains room, so i take it, go talk to morgan thinking that he would take it and give me my share but that doesn't happen. now i dont know how to get it (i still have the savegame from before boarding that ship) and im shure that was between 250k-500k worth of jewels.

Many times I've completed the quest of the Elusive.
In fact, you can keep only the jewels that loads in the inventory corporal.
The jewels remained in the chest of the Elusive are lost.
Deliver (or not) the Elusive to Morgan is not important: not is in the quest, I believe.
Morgan asks about the booty of the Elusive, but not is necessary give it to him: y that the ship sank, and stop for the quest.

yep. that's right but i did a check (since i had the savegame from before boarding the ship) and there was 5,450.000 (aprox) worth of loot there, it's a shame. not that i need it, i have like 5kk on my wallet and 20 more in the bank that keeps growing, but it's frustrating to have 5,5kks there and loosing it like that, and even if you ditch all your equipment and have the extra space in inventory you cant loot it all, 150pounds were only able to carry the diamonds and some rubys (aproximately 750k) but at least i got a great sword from it's captain. the one that means swashbuckler in russian or something, and a great boat. the other thing. could you tell me wich model is it in english ? because i play it in spanish (lousy translation but it's still playable) in spanish it is "acorazado".
