Problems with the Damned Merchant in the store.

Why in damnation does the pratting merchant not allow me to buy over a certain amount of products sometimes, when he has plenty more in stock this is really beginning to bug me as I have a fleet of 4 manowars and they need replenishing on a regular basis as i can bloody well stock up wiv tonnes of grub for the hungry seadogs aboard em.

That's right, just plunder your supplies, I hardly ever buy anything at the merchants once I start taking ships.

Isn't it also an issue of the town's funds, not just their supplies? I know with selling, anyway, you can't deplete their cash pile too much so they stop buying your stuff.

At least, in theory. When I'm alligned with pirates and forced to deal only with QC, I can generally sell only a ship or two to the shipyard before I have to wait a few days and return. But I can keep selling my loot to the store even as they run into a negative town budget...
