Problems with Update 1

For the second time I used udate 1 for Build 13 full and immediately problems appeared in my game. In the first case I thought it could be caused by some chance but the same problems appeared in the second time too. I will have to reinstall the game again and play without this update. After using update 1 crashes of the game will appear much more frequently and freezing too. And several strange things appear, for example I can´t pick up all the things from chest in tawern room in Greenford, problem with chest in tavern room in Redmond appears too and so on. Game becomes much more unstable at least on my computer. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

I play the update and have no problems.
I like to suggest you make a copy of your PotC folder before installing any
update! This way you don't have to install the stockgame etc! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I think they reccomend you start a new game with the update....

I know Noise you don´t have, and because of you I started to play with update for the second time, but my game spoiled again. I don´t know why. My game somehow don´t like this update. I have my saves backed up so, it won´t be such problem for me. Anyway I will be installing PoTC for the fourth time already. I think it depends on various matters, on particular computers and even on various versions of games. In different countries different antipirate protection can be used. I even have two different versions of my game that was issued in the course of about two years in my country. One is more stable and the other is less stable. But although I am using the more stable version now it somehow doesn´t help. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

sorry to hear all the problems you have with the game, Rad.
I have the US version, but there are people in the forum using
the EURO version maybe you can get some help there?

Could you please give me an as-complete-as-possible list of problems you do encounter with Update 1 and not with Build 13?

I wrote them already previously, Pieter.

1. Bigger unstability of the game - quite frequent complete crashing - blue screens of death
2. Much more freezing of the game again.
3. Some minor problems with chests in Greenford and Redmond taverns. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Nosie, I uninstalled the game and will be installing it anew and will be playing it without update 1. Maybe some another update will be more friendly to my game and computer. But I think the game is good without any update, so that it is quite well playable and it´s important. It´s only a pitty that I won´t be able to try Amsterdam. Please, take off some screenshot of Amsterdam and put it here or send it to me by e-mail, if you can. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" />
