Question about the game

BIG QUESTION about gameplay:

How is the sailing-gameplay? Do you sail via small map(like in "pirates") - or do you always sail in 3D-mode as it is seen on every screen-shot ???

edit: Question nr. II:

How is the investigation-system? Do you see every ship on small map? Or is it like in old "pirates"?

Admiral Bennbow, I replied in one of your other threads but YES, you can sail to any destination 3D or via a map. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

We want to get France, Holland and Denmark and Sweden in the game and REALLY could use your imput and vote !!

WOW - that's so awesome! I'm so excited that you can sail places in 3D!!!! I think that for the first week that I have the game, I'm just going to leave it running on my computer, sailing from place to place whilst I do my homework, pausing to look over on occasion to make sure I'm not running into anything. That is SO COOL! It makes me feel more like I'm really there.
