i'm new in here and new at pirates at all,
so excuse if there are already questions like mine
here we go:

1. is it possible that ur alter ego turns into a slow turtle at age? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
because it becomes slower and its harder to fight this damned enemy captains!
or is it just imagination!?!?

2. i got this map of mendosas(?) hideout in the northwest of grand granada,
but the northwest of grand granada is a realy big place...
the problem is, there're only few landmarks on the map (like `4-5`),
no coastlines and, who would have thought it, not a single piece of grand granada!
any suggestions?
<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

help is needed...im stuck

1) When you finish the game your presented with a list of people you might become after you decided to hang up the sword, you might be a priest, begger, judge etc. I guess it depends how much stuff you got axcomplished when you retire.

2) As someone stated on this forum somewhere, the locations are randomly generated so what might be Granada on a map for you, might be San Fransico to someone else. Same goes for the landmarks. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />

<!--`QuoteBegin-Officerpuppy`+--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Officerpuppy)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->1) When you finish the game ...[/quote]
maybe my english isn't that good as i thought...
anyway, this overview at the end is not exactly what i ment... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

this too, isn't quite the problem i have...
the area 'northwest of granada' is VERY big, take a look on the map...
its nearly impossible for me to find the right location without any coastlines
or cities... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

It is just a hard map I'm afraid, I had a similar one north of vera cruz. They have a few locations that are a lot harder to find. They require some trial and error landings along the coastline until you can see the first landmark on your map, once you can start from there.

Welcome <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> have a rum <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

And secondly as you get older, your character gets slower in sword fights, its to do with your health <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Maybe I got this wrong, but if you are saying that city/town locations differ from game to game: umm, no. Landmarks and relatives/treasure locations are randomized of course, but the towns stay the same for everyone. They only differ from time period to time period, but for everyone in the same way.

thanks for the fast replyes <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

i guess i have to do some more trial and error landings,
but the time is runnin' out, arrrr, my clock is ticking...
i'm already at 55 years of age, is there maybe an unique crutch for sale? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The places of some landmarks, `quest-places`, settlements (the ones that only have mayors) and pirate havens differ from game to game, not the big settlements! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />

Imagine a Caribbean where Tortuga is a few miles from Maracaibo, or a Santo Domingo near Panama! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I think what he is saying is, no one else can tell you where to find him, regardless of the city the map says he is near, because the city is random for each game. I do not believe he is saying the city locations are random.

See the difference?

Should you be referring to my post: yes I see the difference and that's why I started with "Maybe I got this wrong (...)".

the only way for ppl to really help you find it is by giving ur saved game to other ppl to try and find it for you.
