Question and graphic problem

And the question:
I noticed 0 acres icon in my charecter screen does this mean i can buy land and how doest it work?

EDIT:i forgot to say my video card is `Ge-Force` Fx5900xt

I'll answer what I can. I'm not familiar with your problem or graphics card compatibility, but to take a screenshot you simply press the "print scrn" or some `similiar-looking` key, then out of game open any graphics program, even simple "Paint," open a new blank document and edit>paste or press ctrl+v. Maybe someone else knows about the problem itself...

Governors award you land when you sink ships for them. Ask any governor for a letter of marque, and he'll tell you to go sink pirate ships or maybe ships of a country he's at war with. The ship you need to sink is usually the very first enemy ship in the "sail to" list when you're in the harbor of that governor's island. When you have land it automatically generates money for you through crops.

Ahoy Revan,if ye press F8 key it should put pictures directly into yer POTC directory,as fer yer video problem there is a GFX fix included wid build 11 that should fix yer problem <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
