Ahoy there! :gday

It has been over than a year since the last time I visit this forum.

Im downloading and installing the game again, but while im waiting the installation, a weird question is killing me:

Is it possible to throw the guns overboard so the ship can move faster? I mean, if I was being chased by pirates and I my goods in the cargo hold are more important than my guns, could I just take the guns off the ship in the middle of the sea?

So, thats my question...

Welcome back, mate. You can throw cargo overboard to make the ship faster.
Cannons, at least at the moment, have no relation to the ship's weight and speed.
You can't throw them overboard either, but you can remove guns from your ship for some quick temporary money.

It doesnt sound to bad for a new addon though... if someone is willing to do it that is
