not being much of a seafaring cove a couple of questions 1. how the hell do you survive a storm do they vary in savagery or are they all just bloody nasty
2. is it possible to sail in real time to any destination without using the world map and just a compass
3. how many permutations of the Quest are there
4.when you take on a cargo as part of a quest how do you deliver it to get paid and the quest ticked do you just sell it to the right merchant or can you use a dialogure box to inform the merchant

So build twelve doesnt change the frequency of storms and pirate attacks just changes the graphics <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" /> and on the Storms why do you completly lose steerage i thought taking the sails down would help but leaving them up didnt do anything either do you just have to go with it till it sinks you <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" />

My impression is that the Build has made the storms more manageable/less destructive.

Lowering your sails minimizes their damage.

You just ride the storm long enough to get the "World map" icon, then use it to leave the storm.

I braved a twister and OH GOLLY!!! it went right through my `Man-of`-War and i watched as the red line started to move to the left and then it stopped.... wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

that was close and i NEVER want that again.

Captain Blackadder, as soon as you see the "Storm" screen, press F3 and it will usually take you back to a calm screen. (cheat)
