No. That is just a fat cat. Coon cats are quite large cats. Weigh about 20 to 40 lbs and that is not fat. They are solid cats. These cats need room to roam and run. However, they do not do well in cities or very warm weather because of their size and fur. They prefer cool or cold weather. Mosby mostly stays in the house here when it is hot and humid. Come fall and winter is when he is outside.
