It has been a busy week for pirate news! I am very glad to see the U.S. Navy take a page from the France's pirate handbook and deal with this scum properly! The attempted hijacking of the Maersk-Alabama was the first act of piracy on a US flagged ship for over 200 years. There are some out there that contend this will only increase the violence and put more hostages potentially at risk. In my opinion, these are the same bleeding hearts that are more concerned with the "human rights" of these thugs, than they are about the rights of the civilian ship crews these criminals are taking hostage! These crews are shot at with RPG's and AK-47's, they are beaten and held captive against their will, and they have been murdered by these thugs before. Ok, time to get off my soapbox!
