S!

Generally a nice idea to build up a navy for playing AoP, but for real fun you will need more than one to organise events and such things.

We at <u><a href="http://www.Sealordsvf.org" target="_blank">Sealords Virtual Fleets</a></u> think about joining AOP, but will wait with the decision till western realease, as there are some problems with playing online so far in the russian version. If we do so, it mayby will be an alternative for you join us, than to build up a complete new organisation.... Just an offer...

Judging from my personal experience, there is NO WAY a long time Sealords member and AOS-PB player will enjoy AOP. And "some problems with playing online" is quite a euphemism too.

I am quite aware of Sealords, my fine gentelmen. The 4th Squadron of the White is made up of the AoP fans, (With a few PB veterans.) and will focus on roleplay, using AoP as a stage for the RP... like PotBS, but smaller and less expensive. I have also spoken with KM Shook about adding our site to the ring on the forum menu.

You might be right seabro, but this group keep going smaller during the last month as AOS is quite old and new game are comming up.

Many concentrate on PotBS and there is a british AOP-Fleet hunting or members.....

We think about future projects at SL and test some possibilities to integrate new age of sail games into SL. Additionally let's take a look what our friends here at PA! will do with the game....

@Commodore Bolitho:
You should know than, that SL is no webring for Age of Sail Gaming Communities. We did the same you want to start for AOP with AOS and PB during the last years.
We have some links of fora on our site, which are assosiated with us, helpful for our members or communities we have a friendship with. i doubt, that your HINT to your captains in your forum to look for SL-Members as new members of your community does help to be listed there.

Ah, I understand, my good man. But prehaps SL and the 4th of the White will form a strong alliance? I do hope so! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

we dont know yet what AoP is gonna be like in multiplayer truly, we only know what Corsairs 3 is like, there may be fixes and chages in AoP <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
