Release Date Set for July 30th.

Well the web site states the release date is 30 July. I assume this means 2010. Sadly this looks like a clone of EIC with a different map. It is suppose to have a more in-depth trading model, but I am guessing the sailing side of the game did not change much. :urgh

Darn - I was hoping they'd listened to all the complaints about the last game.

It is a bit of a bummer about not making more of a Sim. Hopefully Nitro will prove us wrong. Back to playing COAS but that spinning about and firing all the cannon gets a bit hokey after a while.

I found this on the Paradox message board. They appear to be some new screen shots that are posted on a german site.

Bit more eye candy. But no new information about the game available yet.
