Reputation and money

How can i make money... Governur slihard isnt paying me anymore... and not anyone have work for me... because no one would like to sail with me...

Has this something to do with my reputation? If it is... How can i increase my reputation???

Which version of the game are you playing? Unmodded? Build 12? Build 13 Beta?

You can make money by capturing enemy ships at sea. You can increase your reputation in the unmodded game by donating money to the church. In the Builds you can talk to people and give beggars money. You can also go into the jungle and save fair maidens from being raped.
