Reputation Decrease problem? build 11

I'm wondering if anyone else has had their reputation decrease from hero to horror at the beginning of the month. I thought maybe I got a loan from a loan shark and forgot but I loaded my earliest save I had and went to every town and I dont have a loan with any of them. Is there a way to reset loan sharks in the game?

There's some kind of bug in Build 11 that will do that to your rep without any kind of reason - that we can determine. Tracking the source is the problem - since the game doesn't recognize it's an error, nothing happens to record in the error log (AFAIK).

To get your rep back up, just go into the jungle behind any city and find the "rapers" - there will be a reload portal nearby. Just pop back and forth between the areas and the rapers will respawn - save enough maidens and your rep will be back up where it belongs. Hm k ill do that then, thanks for replying so soon I was driving myself crazy <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> had 1 month to figure out what was wrong, went to every loan shark (which is hard when your hostile to everyone and have to take their forts down just to talk with the loan sharks <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" /> ) Then thought maybe it was the assassin quest but it wasnt that either.

It happens in my game on `1-1`-1691 I believe, im sure its the first of the year whatever the year is. Maybe that has something to do with it if everyones is that point in time?

The assassin quest WILL give your rep a hit, but I don't think it's THAT big...

I'll have to try to keep an eye out for that `1-1` thing, perhaps that's a clue...

I got the first part of the assassin mission in my logs and Im rushing through the main quest I didnt bother with it I thought maybe it gave a rep hit after a month, I know the missions santos give you have a month timer but I didnt think the first part did. I did the mission though and it still gave me a rep hit.

I just saved a bunch of damsels and got a little frustrated and put it on 10x speed and got killed by a monkey :x I gotta get rid of this relic while im doing this so I can save.

And yea this is a very big faction hit, it shows on my screen that on `1-1`-1691 I take a faction hit from hero to rascal then another one on that same day from rascal to horror.

I noticed something else strange as well. After my reputation decreases if I then go to the loan shark at redmond he threatens me for not paying him. Whats strange about this is I never took a loan out at Redmond ever, in fact I had 2million earning interest with him. Hes the only loan shark that gives me that message after my reputation decreases. If I load up the saved game before the decrease and go to him he doesnt let me pay loans back or anything, only take the 2million I have with him.

Whats also bad is the 2million is gone, Danielle will be very disappointed when I tell her she cant buy a new portugese MOW and officers, she has a thing for the spanish officers lately.
