G'day all! After a long rest I've returned! Could not log on under my old name after all
the changes with the forum over last year, but used to come here to keep myself
informed about PotC! Downloaded the new mod 14A8, but not tried it yet!
Have to read about problems people having with it first!

Did you use to be member "Nosie"? I might be able to get you back online as that member by resetting your password.

As far as password goes, tried that several times! Got all muddled up along the
Way! Would be nice to have it sorted!
Now a question: I got PotC version 14.5 which is going quite well. What would happen
if I installed 14.A8 full over it? Anybody tried that? I guess 14.8 still has a few bugs!!

Did Fred Bob already get you sorted out, Nosie/Theo8?
Indeed Build 14 Alpha 8 is reported to be pretty buggy.
However, it does run and contains a lot of new features.
It's worth having a look at to see what's in store for Build 14.
And I wouldn't object to an additional person joining the testing effort either. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

you already know about! I ofcourse encounter same. I do play my games
without the Buildmod as I've experienced to many problems even in Build 13.
I got several versions of the game on my computers, one is 14.5 but that only
has the org. storyline! Even that does not work without crashes in 14A8! Now to my question:
Having that many choices, does it confuse and cause crashes? The presettings
at the start not working well either! Using Buildsettings and Internalsettings.h
in early builds used to work well! Couldn't you go back to it? Just a thought!
In all it's a great effort so far and hope you're not getting too frustrated with it!!!

Nope, I haven't experienced any problems with any of my multiple game installs other than things that relate to that particular install. Most of them work flawlessly with the notable exeptions of the normal AoP crashes and the issues everyont has wit Build14A8.

Every one of my PotC and AoP based games works great. Just need to make sure you follow those directions I've given on how to do it explicitly. The biggest issue as I've noted elsewhere is the amount of space that many installations takes up.

We know it's all a bit messed up and confused right now.
I think Pirate_KK's working on trying to fix some things.
However, I'm not at all sure if he's been getting somewhere with that lately.

I was banking on Cyberops, but that was a big dissapointment, bugger!!
The Russions are pretty good (AoP), but haven't discoverd the english lingo
yet, another bugger!! And to answer your question: Male! or is it female?
