Sad Qustion but.....

I have build 12 and was wondering if I could edit the game to get more money.

It is just moving to slow for me and I want to get some major warships but don't have the spending power.

Is this possible with build 12?

Hi

This is not working.

Please help!!!!! I am not strating a game, I have been playing for awhile.

I edited the startup money vallue but it didn't work.

Could someone please post how the exact field I need to change.

I tried characters_init and building h file.

For startup money you have to edit buildsettings.h in following line:
#define START_MONEY 1000

But you have to start a new game in order to work.

If you don't want to start a new game, then do as I suggested - ask one of your `tavern-hired` officers "About Me" and tell him you want to have all sightings reported. THEN you will encounter larger ships - which you can then board and capture - and you won't have the need to BUY a new ship!

Hitting ships bigger than yourself is also QUITE lucrative, so even if you don't encounter one that you like, you'll still make the money you need in a short amount of time. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />
