Salary bug and a crash

On occasion i've been seeing a problem where on payday all my money dissapears instead of just the required payment. Curiously, i keep finding my money in the hands of Fred Bob. Wether it's specific to him i don't know. Maybe his salary is unspecified, and he takes it all on the basis of being the first to recieve payment? It might also be related to loading the game from a savegame at sea, but that's a guess. It does lead me to another bug though:

It seems that when i load at sea, the game is unsure on where i am and crashes whenever i approach another island. It seems quite consistent, but needs more testing. I think that if you save your game after loading it, and certainly when you land somewhere at the same island, the crash is prevented.

cannot seem to find a flaw with tha', since all your savings are secured. Touch that geezer any time you want to, preferable with a hilted slogan. Now get looted. - The other party99 and millenium bustle, donno why we were so out of the house say that year, before the eclipse 14 Beta 2.2 there haven't been such highlights you are narrating. I'd give nine of eleven for this. Does it occur in the three miles zone near Olympia? four flights with one swatter is still a record. Taking all apart is the tip of the polished riceberg, cheerioké. So brilliant, let's get a glass of laurels from a sun studio while these trollions of nuttn but banksters are drifting over the brim of the trough. What's that? a Sole on disk, in flat flounderism, no fluke. You could try anuwwer whether forecast on the neighbours' type of checker board. Chuckle that

I have occasionally found myself with 0 money after a payday at sea, but my funds were pretty low to begin with. Early on I often have no money anyway. The only time I check my officers is after combat to give them meds and such. I suppose in a pinch one could "borrow" money from
an officer.

You save at sea, exit the game, and when you restart it crashes? I do save at sea but don't recall exiting the game after. Will have to try to remember to do that.

How about that then: in the dialogs i cannot scroll anymore with no keys, except for the right mouse moving forwards so you have to read well and choose your words. All of it happening at a fresh install, no changes (yet) at any setting or controls (put'em back to defaults) and trying to find some luck as a French gambler. I am already thinking to meet Jack, Capm Sparrow, where such things won't hamper with circumstances like "Later my dear or Let's wade and sea." First thing you have to fight an invincible don firing a dunce. Thought of taking it all a bit easier to then cranking all settings up to Iron Man XL and complete caboodle. Beta 2.2 begins ya well. Pieter, have you some good ideas? i could brew you a hot chocolate. Na, what do you say? other aficionados might tell their expertise.

Morgan? some weird behaviour disappear when you start a saved game from the most recent haven you put out to sea from. No? gonna check on other persons' stories now. Or better, swim around Cuba in a mail coat. Okay, listening rather to maritime life we could crawl over to magnetic Northpole, fish rofleling in my wake. Hylie? what's a specialist's recipe for a really dreamendous grog, éh? make it brimful svp. I'm going to throw you some rocks. Splashed, and not mixed.

Nemone, try deleting your options folder. That sometimes goes wacky bonkers.

Grog? Eggnog! My wife has an old family recipe. A bit before Christmas we go buy out a likker store. Rum, brandy, whiskey and such. Then hit the grocery store for eggs, cream and such. Then I get a nice clean plastic garbage can and start filling it up.
We use an electric blender at first but then switch to a drill with a long wood bit. Finally she is standing over the can with her witches hat on cackling away as she stirs it with a big broomstick. Now we spend the year collecting bottles. Go to a restaurant
and buy a bottle of wine? Take it home. Empty of course. So we fill them up, cork them and fill the refrigerator up. We need a bigger refrigerator too. Then pass them out for Christmas. We figger it costs about $11 USD per bottle. :drunk

What i saw was that the salary was specified to be in the region of 31K. I had 34K, and all of it ended up in fred bob's inventory, down to a single coin.

To be specific, you need to try and reach another island than the one you're at after reloading your savegame at sea. Then it crashes.

Scrawling about -Spellcheckor in a step-aside mod- those conversations is still being achieved via w&s buttons, innit. This is what you would get when living in Wetter (Ruhr) -that'd be Weather, the biggest hamlet with that name- on whole da planet. If it weren't for them birds, we're enjoying a concert, i tell ya.. No word from me you will read about those unspeakable neighbours all. The kids are somewhat, rather incredible entertaining, but me is already strengthening a plan to settle scores here and go away. Any ideas, svp?

So, what is that weird stuff Morgan is rambling on about. Cannot be that difficult to suss out, what you phink?

..am since yesterday dreaming of taking a bath in highly recommended grog speshiaaale. No joking.

Know now what 'Clubhauling' is all about. Swashbuckling is putting a wet roller on to yer jacket then. Now let me find a word for any of ... to say that wings-things are just assorted feathers dangling from twigs is a myth. They actually listen! learn and become friends!! Ey, plucking or anything else that springs to mind what one could try with all the rest is just Sysiphos in a dream of bowling those beergarden dwarfs. Believe me, they wouldn't even notice. The woods have more nerves! Atlas is clawing his feetses inner minnit, ouch. Yeah, you're right, cricket. Have an ordinary Friday, till then. ..now listen to admirable Windcommander Jackdow Sparrow the Charming Schnappswhistler. Scratch yer later

Has it something to do with that, and may I add, only topic around boarding, bugs, rats and frogs:

http://www.piratesahoy.net/threads/mutiny-bug.19040/#post-427519 don't get comfused, it's a trophy from the AoP market place.

ya, an half-a-laugh letter disappoofed on finishing my last sentence; for the oompfteenth time. Do not press the back-key. Not sure if i can rummage up the bitses. This design from the forum is truly wacky, buggery and goes over all measures when you zoom in. Where are the left keys... Next occasion will be a session at a second terminal in a cozy corner. The post i've screabbled? would nobody have believed anyway. - Someone starts a Logbook thread? ow please. Or somebody else may ponder upon that..

Could you follow the lot? that precisely was what i am thinking.

Hmm, lecker yummy British breakfast. lovingly swept from the kitchen floor.
ham, spam, sausage, eggs, beans, fries & filet accompanied by an orange squash.

Someone must've indulged in too many second-hand teabags' third infusion fresh from the washing line, then firmly squeezed and here you are.

Excuse me, just getting some fantastic info...

Ah. I was waiting until I was well out there to save at sea, and getting no crash. Will try again.

I tried again. Started at Philipsburg on a trade mission to Port A Pitre. The wind was bad and couldn't get out of the harbor, so world mapped it to Nevis. Saved the game off Charlestowne and exited. Restarted.
Sailed off and noticed that my other ships were not following. Ordering them to "defend" me got them to drop sails and follow me. We then direct sailed to Guadaloupe and I saved the game while standing on the wharf. No ctd.

that non-following bug is something i've seen too, i know that much. I guess i'll have to look for more consistencies with that CTD then.

ya where are the landrats runnin, Chevalier de Neptune cannot fast travel to common commodities as long he hasn't been there himself. Whatsthatthen. Issie Iron Mountain swimming along-side? and now find a stable side-board: checking on the Spaniards what are floating in a Portuguese haven, the ordinary spyglass is giving all sorts of variating ship-and sail-strength. Release that one, an empty hand or something tells you correctly that the crew cannot hit a bluewhale when it's drifting at arm's length from the boat, eh long schooner. Now the shoo'in' by yerself is again perceivable loud and wood-creaking. This is what fair gamers would call proper mode. One Spaniard is meshing up the riggin's on an unmasted pigeon carrier.

Effe a jump to matters of conclusions, extremely surprising, certain prize chanting in karaoke clubs can be found everywhere, but no crazy toppling desktops (CtDs) on a maritime mainboard of surferee. Unless Monsieur M'Organ has spun gear, gadgets and net beyond Pacific specifications. Have you still got a few pennies and a decent bar on the map? Get a rosebud-tea brewed in cold tap water from last evening before that maximum thimbleful of beansap first stumble in the morning. I'm aware, one might steamroll a lemonfarm instead for all they know. Earlier saves, maybe a complete new-start doesn't help atoll?

Guess we need a second officer on Beta 2.2's shift. ANYONE else a cute clue?? when Pieter with a plan reaches Alaska's capital he's gonna pub-hauling the near-by standers over the tables for more soda more, then casts a broad sneer, snatches some tiny paperbrellas encore, walks out and enjoys the frozen foot. Goosebumps flying overhead? that's the crows-nest from the Armani-wearer what the parrot hit out of his suit. Another round of balls, party-hats, fancy dresses, disco- and house-music ..on da scream.

Cueword for today: more exotic worlds.
Houston, "The Moon is rather a show."
"Arrgn, shut up. Crew? test your firings a bit and close the window. We's editing some manoeuvreboards."
"How lovely from the cabin boy."

Precious posts later, hoyé then
