This is a good ship to be added in POTC!!!!!

Yes your right the modelformat is `X-file` <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
 
Why <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> ? Its an common format, that should make no trouble to convert.
 
Before you get your hopes up high: ship import is not working altogehter correctly with the tool (you get it ingame, but its behaviour might not be ok).
But maybe you can get Inzane to convert it with Maya.

If you do get the X files converted, you might want to talk to Pieter also: I think he, too, had some Virtual Sailor models.

I looked at it.it can be converted.the x file is a direct x 3d file format.I can convert her to be used in Maya with no problems.my plate is pretty full at this moment to add it in game.but she will need work to remove stuff thats just going to drive fps down.

Anyhow: Knowing the modeler, Andrés Merino (merinotallafigo@hotmail.com) personally, I'm sure he would be fine with you putting the model in PotC if you would ask. The same goes for Alan Winter (alan_riftworlds_winter@hotmail.com), the modeler of the U.S.S. Constitution. Unfortunately, both their `poly-counts` are extremely high and would require lots of optimizing indeed before working in PotC.

It would be great if it's possible to have it in the game. It's a beautiful and huge ship, too bad it was decimated in Trafalgar <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Thanks. This ships had to be really impressive! Even a little larger than Victory yet. It is interesing in the web was written she had 136 guns and here is stated 140 guns. And what about Victory concerns I read previously she had 102 guns and now is stated 108 guns. This number probably little differs in the course of various stadiums of active service of those ships which are on the sea for about 50 years for example, if they aren´t sunk. As was written on the website Santissima Trinidad was the huggest Manowar of all, if it is true. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" />
