screenshots

not again. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> well, you need to press F8, and it puts the screens in the main directory. i think print screen works as well.

well, irfanview can. just google it up. there are free versions of it. but tga is rather large, so you might need a converter as well to change them into jpg. and if you would change them into jpg, you wouldn't need irfanview either.

Every single one was nice. I did however get one complaint about your fashion though.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
Its just a pitty about all them logos at the top of the screenshots but I guess you had to make due with what you had.

If I ever get good performance with Build 14.7 I'll try to take some screenies of Jack Sparrow blowing shit up with the Perl <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

LOL... thats what the game is all about... blowing shit up <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

PM you? Im not into yer lingo, what do you mean????

I did take one nice one, with a lovely sunset and my frigate... classic, but this game makes it look sweet <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Oh yeah... when I take a screenie, it makes several copies of the same picture, but with different names... do yer game does that too??? seems rather weird to me...

mine doesn't do that, but as long as you get the screens, it would seem ok to me.

PM means personal message.

i have a screenshot of the captain's cabin at night. you can see a pizza on the table. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> i did have a screenshot once of the moon shining between the masts of my schooner. very nice indeed. that screenshot where you can see the figure head of the black pearl is made from INSIDE the ship, when you could still walk through the deck. it gives some very interesting possibilities. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> personally, i liked the one with my trusty Crimson Blood against that frigate and the flying dutchman in the background the best. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> the reason why i have so many shots of the pirate corvette is because i wanted to make a few shots of the new cannon physics, and i simply had that ship at the time. i do have a few other screens, but those aren't as nice. one of them looks like my ship is suffering from massive backfire. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />

by the way, the banner was a relatively small one, as it turned out. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> all the other programs i found had much bigger ones.

neat... sound like some cool screenies.. If anyone of you are good at fixing problems in the mod, cant you try to take a look at my other forum, where I am asking about some breakdowns... I am stuck... and I dont think the solution is to reload a previous save and try over again... It would mean alot to me if anyone could help me... my game crashes several times every hour... and it is getting annoying playing like that... and from what i can read in the error.log it seems to be the same thing every time

I always make screenshots the following way: Press PrintScreen on the keyboard, open Paint, press Ctrl+C (Paste), then save. Can all be done without any new programs. Paint can save as JPG as well, though the quality isn't usually very good.

I'll accept TGA files. I can open them in Photoshop and alter them so they are PNGs. That way they will look good and be quite small.
