One of the Fkeys... I hit F6, F7, F8, F9, F10, F11 and I end up with screenshots. =)

Not sure which one it is...

Thanks hat, that narrowed it down enough... looks like f8 does it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I thought it was F9, but it might indeed be F8. For some reason I can't find the code referring to it in the PROGRAM\CONTROLS\init_pc.c file. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Its hidden.

All I do know, is when I roll my fingers across all those keys, I usually end up with THREE of the same image each time.

So..... maybes its like f8 f9 and f10 ?

Yeah, when I take screenshots with F8, I end up with parts of the screen missing. For example, sea scenes have white space instead of water :/

What program are you using to look at the screenies afterwards? I've found the white spaces problem with screenies viewed in Photoshop but curiously not when viewed in Paintshop. Never could work out why.

Oooh...

Your post has allowed me to solve this mystery. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> You see, POTC saves shreenshots in .tga format... <b>with transparency map</b>. That's why in some image viewers or graphic programs transparent parts of the screenshot show as white spaces. If you remove the mask, the white spaces will dissapear as well. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/type_1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":nk" border="0" alt="type_1.gif" />

Yeah, good advice mate. I tend to use Paintshop's rather useful batch convert function to change a bunch of .tga files into jpgs. Only problem is I don't have that installed on this computer (my laptop), lest my harddrive complain of being a tad stuffed.

Ahh, righty. Nice one matey. I thought it had to be something like that, but was far too lazy to work out why in the end. That's handy to know.
