Does anyone have this game for the PC or Xbox, is it any good? I played the PC demo, itsnot bad, but I was curious if i lets you fly anyplane you want on any mission after you unlock it. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />

I have played the game on the Xbox. I liked it. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> Plane flying is simple so you only have to consecrate on shooting the bad guys. Once a plane is unlocked it goes into your hanger and your can use it any time. However, each mission is different and some of the planes are not suited for those assignments as you will be destroyed. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Personally, I want to fly a `B-17` bad <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> Im not sure if I want the Xbox or PC version though, though i guess flying with the joystick on the game pad is easier than useing the keyboard on the comp. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />

I never played the PC game. You are correct in that the Xbox game pad makes it easier. You fly the `B-17` in several missions, and fly combat support for them in a other missions. I think you will like the game. I personally give it a <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

Ahhh, I've always liked flight combat sims.

Does anyone remember the one Origin did for World War 1? You got to fly your camel and attack other `bi-planes` and Zeppelins. It rocked!
I liked those types because it meant that both you and your enemies had to have clean line of sights on one another. Which was an extreme advantage or disadvantage.

Do you mean Red Baron? Red Baron 2 came out a few years ago, suppose to be like a 3D version of the orginal which I use to have. I really liked that game too, I was so happy the time I got promoted to Capt I think and got to paint my own plane.

Currently I bought `B-17` Flying Fortress: The mighty 8th, its pretty good. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" /> Just need that joy stick and I can I fly it on my own without the comp doing all the work.
