I'm starting to think that those sailorspoints are points that are directly on the model (.gm) Locators mabe?

I recall that the PotC ships models have some crew-related locators in a GM file. It is possible that it has been moved into the sailorspoints files for AoP. That would mean that you should be able to make sailorspoints files using the locators of the PotC models.
