I noticed that the biggest cannons being able to be installed in a frigatte were `24-cannons`, but the (usual weaker) corvette has capacity for 32- cannons!

You´re sure you´re not confusing the gun caliber with the number of guns?

Oops,
actually the a frigatte has `24-cannons` and same for a corvette...
BUT there's a pirate corvette having `32-cannons` !

So did I. And, if you´ve read my "Ship class names" thread, I´m about to weaken the corvette a bit more, by giving her 16- pounders max. That, and a lot of other things. I hope that goes as smoothly as I think right now´.
