hehe... strange....
he´s lowering the price of ships and put them up to above 200% to have more fun :)

looks like a new `mod-idea` to make more `difficult-levels` :)

Mod maker? Notepad.
Well, any text editor. If you're serious about coding I suggest a good `syntax-highlighting` IDE or source editor or whatever.
Photoshop or something for textures.
Anything that exports to VRML for models (or Maya 4.5 if you want to use the plugin and not Inez's tool).

Check the various stickies at the top, or mods.piratesahoy.net.

Just so ya know i'm not perfect in english i can understand and all that but i don't speak english 100% but i understand what i need to <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/oops3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops2" border="0" alt="oops3.gif" />

Um. Other than either finding a used copy of 4.5 to buy, or a friend who has it, there's relatively little else I can think of. There probably are other places to find it, however; a google may turn up some leads.

So instead I'd recommend that if you're serious about doing modeling, you find a 3D package you like and get comfortable with it. Odds are that it will be able to export something that can be converted to VRML for use with Inez's tool.

You can google for, um, gmax, blender, hmmm...anybody else have free packages they like?
