I´m wonderin', what ships are today "under construction", if anybody knows that.

Plz post screenshots of your ships here too...

I know that many are currently in the shipyards, but I´m wonderin which ships that is - aka name, class, etc. And also screenshots if possible... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" />

some of us are more interested in making nation ships
so for english ONLY english ships .......
that will give the game more exiting battles ......
 
Ah, but you see, there's really no fundamental difference between each nation's ships. (except that the french are faster, and the Dutch are `flat-bottomed` dishes). They all really do look pretty much the same, all things considered.
 
thats right .....
and thats the reason I and some other guys works on a major
"`re-ship` thingy"
so an english flotile WILL be with english colored ships .....
instead of same type to all ....
but this takes HELL of a time to make

Nah, I meant, in real life. Everybody actually did build ships pretty much the same way (with a few exceptions).

Up until Nelson at Trafalgar, even British ships were painted as their captains wanted to paint them, and that was by no means unique to them. Everybody did up their ships however they wanted, and they were built using the same techniques and basic designs too, (until Snodgrass' diagonal bracing, etc. . .).

You'd be hard pressed before about 1800 to actually objectively tell the difference between each nation's ships other than by the way they set their sails (because it was also routine to fly under false colours).
 
then i have to `re-update` my knowlegde of ships colors .......

the unique thingy on there ships where the aft ..... and the bov figue as to my acc. but english and danish navies had there colors just so they did not fire against friendly ships ....... in "slaget på reden"
where nellson conquered the whole danish flotile, danish and english ships had there own colors as to the paintings i have seen ...
and it from there i have the idea about nation wide ships .....

I have a brig model that Grumblepunk made - Have yet to skin it - it's a project in the works that is waiting until I finish my Fred Bob quest.

I know that the danish navy NEWER had a ship like a MOW ......

Zheng He's Flagship
