As the above sais,I am curently at the stage when I should capture Greenford in order to save that old man so I made a party of three ships(Counting me) so when I say goodbye to the gal that attacks from the shore I say to the other ships to attack the fort but the ships just run away and do not obey my commands....whats wrong? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />
 
I haven't got the slightest idea. Get yourself a Manowar and destroy the fort on your own. That could/should work. If you didn't set the difficulty level too high. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
I have a battle ship under my command and the other two is Corvete and a warship but the corvete and the warship are running away every time I approach the fort.....god what should I do? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
Welcome aboard mate,It appears thar runn'n away,sometimes they scoot around a bit te get outta fort cannon range,but they should stay with in de proximity O' de fort,unless ye actually orderd them ter run away <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Yeah they stay a bit but do not fire and then they just float away.....is it a bug? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/type_1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":nk" border="0" alt="type_1.gif" />
 
You could try ordering your ships to attack the fort by using the menu that comes up by pressing the ENTER button. Do they start attacking the fort if you do that? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Yes, order your other ships to attack the fort, that's really the only way to do it - What I like to do is set the other ships as LANDING PARTY... Catalina:I would order the ships to attack the fort if only they were listening to me lol,I'll do my best and play with some strategies you all offered and try to see what will come of it.

You will not believe it I found a manowar and captured it,after that I mannaged only with the manowar to burn this fort...
Curently I'm playing under the french flag but without any Marque letters,I was thinking about asking a letter after I finnish the game.What do you think?

Eye,I played Sea Dogs wich I think much harder than this one,so I pretty much knew how to sail and board a ship,the only problem for me were the fightings. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" />
