Simple Patch Mod

I hope <b>We</b> can work together to create Simple Patch Mod, it's should be fixed bug in stock game and keep playing game when main quest is done, but not add or changed `3-D`. I have not play Main Quest but I did play whole side quests,

First Atios Votary Quest has a bug, when you saved him again in Conceicao, and talk to him about 50,000 silver, if you try talk him again, he said same thing as back in first time in the Quebradas Costilaswhen you saved him first time, ask to join your crew. When all this quest is done, then you go to Conceicao Post again with Atios, he is gone again, even quest should be done. If you try keep doing till you find him lay in ground where 3 band, but 3 band is gond because you are done the quest but he got stuck lay on ground forever. No way to get him back.

Secondly In Won Girl in Dire game in quest, you should talk talk to Falaise de fleur Governor but door are locked, some people said solve this problem go to Quebradas Costilaswhen and find guys in tavern, pay him and make pace with france or sleep in tavern next day, but I hasn't test this. If you has high luck and won many time, you will not get this quest because most dont want play game with you, so careful.

Lastly, Trade Mission, any store ask you go to Redmond, Oxbay, Greenford, most of time in quest book messy up but save game before you talk to store, to solve this problem

Rescuing Toff's daughter from pirate, Finding the son of Admiral, Strange things going on in the Archipelago so far I find no bug. but Atios Votary Quest can be no bug but if you want him with you all the time be careful not to take him with you if plan go to Conceicao Post, no You wont get 50,000 silver more, bacause band you killed earier was not there and Atios will stay on ground forever.

I dont know any of bug in Main quest because I not has played them yet. and I seen can't find any of mod that fixed simple game but there build 12 but it's too much and casue more problem like in `3-D` Sailing your lugger Class 6 when storm and big wave of ocean, your ship looked like sink or water all over the desk, but I have no problem with clean Stock game, so it's much be build 12. Any any welcome to add but my downside I dont know how to find them and fixed bug, but I do know changed in note pab in stock game little.

I thought alot of the broken quests were fixed in the build mod?

Yeah, I download and try it out build 12 but it's casue other problem, though like when I command lugger class 6 ship, ocean cover some of your ship of water, it could happan to class or lower but I'm not test class bigger ship, this I have no problem in clean stock game, other thing, it's kind too much changed weapon, it's make pointless doing "Rescuing Toff's daughter from pirates" he give you common sword, not rare like stock game, and Guard should keep safe in town but turn out they are not gurad, more likely thug bodygurad it's may solve normal problem but add something will casue more problem.

I hope you taken over create Simple patch mob where fixed bug, add hotkey only, enable to play when main quest are done. See how `well-popler` download, who know maybe some people rather like simple than change everthing that build do. I'm lack of skill mod this one, only little changed note pad in progarm but cant seen find to cause bug or how it work.
Can you taken over and create mod and fixed bug for us Keith? Or could copy file that fix bug for stock game from build 12 then create Simple Patch Mod but need to ask Build 12 Mod Team, one path for simple and one path for major change like build 12.

Edit: Not only fix bug but simple patch Mod allrow more stock game rules rather than Build 12 rule, I know you could turn some off/on in building Set.in file but couldn't removes `in-game` menm if run and ale is off but it's still show it in it.
 
nah, Im not a modder, but i dont quite understand the problems with build12, the water thing only happenn on the smaller ships.

There are lots of rare swords in the game but it has been changed to make it a bit harder for you. Its still worthwhile

Edit It's could make your website more legendary <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_praise.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="icon_praise.gif" /> one for people who like major change like build 12 and one for people who dont want major change but get game bug fixd like simple patch mod on your website. There is none wrong with build 12 but few problem more, it's just hugh change of gameplay, that's all.
 
Ok, I just find out how to solve those problem lose Atios Votary as your crews, when you saved him at outside of Conceicao City, just dont talk to him again when he tell you where 50,000 silvers, just wait till loading like go to out of Conceicao to Conceicao Port, talk to him, if he say Just passing or What can I do, Captian? then you are okay, but if he said he want to service to you just like when you saved him at Quebradas Costilaswhen then he will be gone when you go to Conceicao Port again. I dont know anyone knew this or not.
 
Ok, now I have test this "A girl won in a card game" I try to search and no luck (well, too many page and most it not what I want to read) I'm doing well till I need to see Falaise de fleur Governor but door locked.I didn't make war with France I did go to Quebradas Costilas and have paid diplomat in the tavern before I get Virginie, and before Main Quest, of course. Some say try sleep at the tavern but it's didnt work, even night time (should be day time). I dont know pull this bug off, did any know fix this in Folder Program??
 
Fer ships that sit to low in water an ye have water spill'n over ye chan change waterline in Program/Ships/ships ini.c file.open it up an scroll to ship description yer look'n for an change waterline level by decreasing number

Are this for build 12, right? Well I reinstall build 12 and check it out but it's said refShip.WaterLine = 0.0 are there, and I didn't changed it, Lugger1 has refShip.WaterLine = 0.0 too. What happan if say I change "-0.3", I go try that in build 12.

Edit: I just find out it's work, I changed to "refShip.WaterLine = -0.3", it's looked lot better in Sailing Mode, not see any water cover you ship. Now anther problem is build 12, is there alwasy big wave of ocean or just me? I dont see calm water most of time just like stock game and anther when is it hard to turn the ship round if in wave of ocean? I'm not talk about storm.

Did anyone know where and how to force unlock door for Falaise de fleur Governor in Folder Program?
 
That particular schooner has same problem with water on deck,resetting waterline fixed it <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
Ok, thank for telling me about schooner, Right now I'm back to Stock Game, then Build 12 back and forward, I find new problem in build 12, there lot of big wave of ocean in normal sailing Mode, but in stock game, most of time ocean has been calm in sailing mode. Another problem in Build 12 I try to turn ship left and right but hardly command ship left and right, but in stock game it's just right, it's easy to turn left and right and seen working. I still use Lugger1 of course. Did anyone know what changed and where file for that?
 
Maybe you are using realistic sailing in B12, and arcade sailing in the stock game? No, I use both realistic sailing in B12 and Stock game, never used arcade, only real problem is B12, no matter where you go in normal sailing mode you get big wave of ocean (not storm), it's maybe why it's hard to turn, but in stock game, most of time ocean was calm and it's easy turn. Now I wonder where and how to change this file, It has to be in program folder somewhere. There some I dont understand code, however.

And the weather mod? Hmm... I thought there was a way to toggle it but the only thing I find is a way to change the chance of fog happening. More likely it's must in C:program FilesBethesda SoftworksPirates of the CaribbeanPROGRAMWorldMap but I couldn't understand how to change this, It's could be in also C:program FilesBethesda SoftworksPirates of the CaribbeanPROGRAMWeather {WhrSea} "C files", I try to understand those files, but not clear to me.
