SuperRay i watch Master and Commander after not see for long time. I see
Seb make M and C graphic kit and Inzane make Surprise. In movie crew
make Surprise to be look like a whaling ship to take on the much large
enemy Acheron.
Can this be make to a mod and quest?

To make ships to have smoke to be like whale ship and smoke is in game
now to be see come from chimney in towns. This was also to gave me idea
to have smoke be seen make exit from stove pipe on my ships like when
cook meals for crew. I add smoke locator to my ships before i upload to
ftp. It is same locator towns use for chimney. I not get to work on
ship. I was to think same words that connect for to work for towns in a
file can be possible to add this to file and be make work for ships?
It only need to be find where is file in game?

Please any can be help please do and if can want to test to figure out
all can use download from ftp you can find "Captain Augast's
StingRay.zip" as was try to explain both StingRay and SuperRay have
smoke locator.

This sounds a little like the discussions we've had about adding lamps that light up at night to the ships. So far no one has been able to accomplish this, that I know of, but maybe when AOP comes out we'll be able to see how they manage it and be able to aply that information in other ways like adding smoke from cooking fires belowdecks.

Are the locators and smoke animation for chimneys in towns, the same that are used for when your ship catches on fire? Could you create a diminished or reduced version of the smoke from ship fires for this?

Aye Sir Mings,good point,adding land lamps to ships lamps has not work, Merciless Mark played around with smoke files for ships,perhaps he could point ye in the right direction Cap'n Augast <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

That brings up another point .Why don't any of the pirate games ever have whale oil as a comodity ? It was a very valuable resourse.
 
I'm not sure about smoke but you might want to try glowmaping to add lights to the ships. It would work best for windows and such.
