I play PotC with alpha 14-6 and love it, but I popped into your forum and started reading some posts. This looks like a good game, if I get it what should I look at doing - ie mods, tweaks, etc... What are the pros and cons of this game over/under PotC. Do any of you SEA DOGS play both? With the last patch, are things -bugs- better? worth me looking into. Any, and I mean ANY advise/help wpould be of great help. I'm hope that you all are as welcoming here as the folks in the PotC forum, that is if you're still takin' new Captains aboard?? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

My opinion is that if you are bored of POTC you can try AOP, but be aware that POTC+Build14A6 have some many features compared to AOP that this can get boring very quikly.

I like AOP, but the lack of support from Akella is discouraging, but its a good game. As for POTC, thats like the gift that keeps on giving due to the build mod <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

well for me , this game wass rather boring quickly, and I havn't touched it for months now ....
My opinion is as follows : don't buy it unless you can get it for 5€ for somthing.

If you can try this game : Sea Dogs. Its like 8 years old now, but it has a rather good gameplay and it is from the same devs as potc (POTC had to be SDII untill disney came arnound waving with some cash and bought the engine and made a crap game compaired to what SDII should have been)
