some rigging fixes for the dutchman

back84

i noticed there are some rigging errors in the dutchman... some ropes end nowhere, some sails float in air without any sustaining ropes...

i've fixed some of them...

now it looks better...

That's good. Thank you for your effort. We definitely need dedicated riggers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

yep. good.

*sinks back down again*

Awesome! Thank you very much! For which version did you make these fixes? We've got dozens of Dutchman versions. Does this one have the triple bow chasers?

mmm... you know, i didn't notice that the triple cannon model is missing here...
here's the updated model... with triple cannons, like in the movie <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

by the way, where can i find these 'dozens of versions'? maybe you've already a better updated one...

I think the most recent version is the one on the PotC Files FTP in the FilmShips.zip mod file. Unfortunately all links pointing there are dead. Try the FTP Commander program from the modding tools page on my site and see if you can still access the FTP that way. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Sorry, I was talking crap. You can find the FilmShips mod <a href="http://www.piratesahoy.net/potc/FilmShips.zip" target="_blank">here</a>. If you could apply your fixes to that model, that'd be MOST appreciated! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

As I can see, the lineship, used for the Dutchman, is not lying that deep in the water like mormal or like to many other ships do. How can you edit the waterline level in AoP? Especialy in case of the Mordaunt, would such a fix be nessecary!

PotC has a <i>refShip.WaterLine = 0.0;</i> line in PROGRAM\Ships\ships_init.c. Does AoP have something similar?
