The hull shape and the railings are very similar to one another, as is the steering position. you will also notice that the rigging of AoP's corvette.
You will also note that AoP's corvette has almost exactly the same rigging as the Surprise, a 6th rate frigate.
its just so damn similar, i have a hard time beleiving it is a conincidence.
but one thing is certain, the Corvette is definatly based on the designs of a 6th rate frigate, with a few problems, too small, too many guns for a ship of that size or any 6th rater. so her guns says shes a 5th rate, but her size and rigging and appearance says shes a 6th rater.
oh yes, and she has way way way to much crew to be a 6th or a 5th rate ship.
