Sound buzz in combat, wont go away

Hey there guys. I dont know whats up but for some reason, ever since I reinstalled PotC and the Build, there is a major buzz during combat. Any reason why? I have a Pentium IV, 1.7g with 640mb 30g hd, GF4 Vid card. If anyone has an answer, please let me know. Thanks!

Didn't you know that the Build includes swarms of killer bees?

Seriously though have you run the Config.exe file and tried changing the Sound options like Safe Mode?

the same problum is with me too, a terrible buz sound - half chicken and half goats voice are heard but @ sea the sound seems to fade away and is prevailed by a beautifull melody....

Actually its just an annoying buzz. I didt fiddle with the safemode option. The weird thing is, that it didnt do it before. I dont know what to think. Thanks for any help.

You did, or did not, trying switching into (or out of) safe mode?
If not, that may help. If you did, then I'm stumped.
What kind of soundcard (or if it's integrated, what chipset)?

It still buzzes and I dont know what the sound card has to do with it. The game worked like a charm up until I formated my computer. Ever since then the game goes, and I quote, "Bzzzzzzz" when ever I fight a ship....I updated and the card is built in. Its an Avance AC 97(I cant afford a real card yet.) Like I said, I do not think its the card...Any help would be appriated. lol
