Spy Glass

This is a very stupid question i know but for the life of me i can't find any better spy glasses, the best i can find is the common one you buy at the start, i have looted about 13 ships, visited every market stall in every town i have been in ( i haven't visited every town yet) but i have searched everyone i have been too and still no spy glass apart from the cheap spy glass, do i need to do something to unlock it or is it in a chest or something in one of the towns like the storemans chest etc, or can you buy this and all types of spy glass and if so where's the best places to start its very annoying not to have all the information.

The first and the second spyglass can you buy since the beginning of the game, the third will be buyable when your rank is 10. (Or nearby 10) The fourth spyglass I don't know. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Thanks, that explains why i can't find any of the other ones i have spy glass 2 and was hopping to find a better one now i know i need to be ranked up to at least 10 before the 3rd spy glass is available, thanks. Lol, the gamefiles said that Spyglass 3 will be buyable at rank 5, but I saw it on rank 10 for the first time... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="bow.gif" /> And Spyglass 4 is rank 7.

So the files say spy glass 3 on rank 5 and spy glass 4 on rank 7, but spy glass 3 became avaiable to you on rank 10 that means that spy glass 4 will be somewhere around rank 12 upwards, how many ranks are there?

There are unlimited ranks. So it is possible to have a rank about 99999 or something. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

It'll just take you forever to get there, since it takes longer and longer to get to the next rank.

The highest rank I've seen is 150, and I made that with help from the gamefiles. But about high values, I had one time that I had too much money. I lost all the money from the inventory and the Character menu said I had -1845732241257 or something. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

the highest i've heard of was 300-ish, but gameplay had became pretty impossible in terms of enemy hp in swordfights.

So we have to hope they have fixed this ranking problem or more to the point made sure that ranking is unlimited, i have used cheats to rank up to 50 but that was me trying to get use to the game i've started a game now without any cheats now that i'm use to it, i often think shall i attack that big ship and then remember i can die lol now lol, so i get the hell out of there as quickly as i can. I'm now in a Brig (not sure which) its a 22 gunner so its got enough fire power to keep most ships at bay but thats the problem all i bump into are class 3 ships and above and everyone of them have more guns than me and every ship battle i enter has a minimum of 2 ships charging at me. Anyway its all fun i will get braver as time goes by and learn how to take advantage of situations to the best of my ships ability and loot more ships a long the way.<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
